I’m Vanessa Rose, a bilingual poet based in Germany with deep U.S. American roots.

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. My passion for language led me to study at the Institute for Foreign Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of Erlangen/Nürnberg, where I earned my degree. But it was during a formative year in Dublin that my poetic voice truly began to take shape.

My work explores themes of self-empowerment, body politics and transformation through a witchy, feminist lens. Drawing from personal experience and the archetypal power of the feminine, I craft vivid, often provocative imagery that challenges societal expectations of beauty, desire and identity.

My poetry weaves raw emotion with rebellion – creating space for strength and vulnerability.
